REPRESENT LOVE, Tinder

In 2019, when you looked at the couple emoji on your phone, there was only one option: yellow.

Tinder set out to change that, proving that they represent all love.

We mobilized an army of designers across four countries to create bespoke emoji couples that truly reflected the people who use Tinder - from ripped jeans and tattoos to tiny scars and subtle details.

Then we took it further.

After successfully petitioning Unicode, interracial couple emoji were officially launched in 2019. A cultural shift sparked by this campaign.
